| My Testimony John 4:29 Says "Come see a man , who told me all things i ever did" On Oct. 3,1970 on a Sunday afternoon between the hours of 2 and 3 0-clock, I asked the Lord Jesus to come into my heart and save me. That day I met a man who told me all things i ever did!!! . Then He said the sweetest words i have ever heard , "I forgive you". He forgave me of all my sins and most of all the one sin I did not commit, that was the sin I was born with. (My sin nature) He forgave all my past sins and all my present sins and all i will ever commit. And at that moment in time I was born again, (The second birth) into the family of God. I had been convicted for about two weeks that I was lost and on my way to a devils hell when i died. I had just came out of the Catholic Church which I was a member for 19 years. I had just gone through a divorce and they said i had committed the un pardonable sin. And said God would never forgive me for that. So they excommunicated me from the church. But then on that day Oct. 3 1970 God made them out a lier. Because he did forgive me all my sins. That day I met Jesus, I came face to face with the Grace of Almighty God. Face to face with John 3:16 a verse i had known all my life but never paid to much attention to. I got up off my knees that day a different man. 2nd. Cor. 5:17 "Behold all things have become new." I had found a new life in Jesus Christ. The first thing I did after I was saved was to drive five miles into town and tell my Mother what had happened , when I got there she already knew what had happened. That Sunday night went to Faith Missionary Baptist church in Marion Va and got Baptized. No one needed to tell me i had to be Baptized, the Holy Spirit had already convinced me that i had to be Baptized and to pour all the liquor and beer out that was in my house and to get rid of all the cigarettes and quit smoking. And thanks be into a Great and wonderful Saviour I have never had a desire of the stuff since that day. He done a Miracle in my life that day, and I will never forget it. I haven't gotten over it yet and I hope i never will if I do forget I hope he will whip the tar out of me. In December of 1970 We started the Bus Ministry at Faith Baptist Church. And in January of 1971 I went to Lynch burg Baptist Collage to a Bus conference and heard Dr Bob Gray preach his famous sermon of Highways , Hedges and Buses. And I was hooked, and I have been in the bus ministry every since. On September the first of that year, I entered into the (Then) Lynch burg Baptist collage and graduated in 1974. We have moved all over the country in different churches starting bus ministries for them, And no matter where we went God has always been there . Sure we had some bad times But God was right there with us through it all. And he has more than abundantly meet all our needs. Latest: I am now 82 years of age , And still in the bus ministry, I still drive the bus for our church, go visiting on Saturdays, And still preach where ever He opens the door for me.
